The RC education program is focused on building strong communities based on human understanding and on helping students develop collaborative communication skills, humanistic insights, mathematical thinking, mature attitudes and values, sensitivity, leadership, and a challenging spirit. This course is a residential college (RC) program designed for first-year students and focuses on developing the mindset and leadership skills necessary for success in college. The course aims to help students grow and develop by focusing on the essential qualities and abilities they need to cultivate to thrive in college and beyond. As part of the program, students will have the opportunity to engage in discussions and activities that explore a wide range of related topics. Additionally, students will learn how to adapt to college life and work together to create a healthy and supportive community. |

The RC education program is focused on building strong communities based on human understanding and on helping students develop collaborative communication skills, humanistic insights, mathematical thinking, mature attitudes and values, sensitivity, leadership, and a challenging spirit. This course is a residential college (RC) program designed for second-semester first-year students. It is focused on providing mentorship to local elementary, middle, and high school students through a social engagement program. Through direct participation in the theories related to mentoring and the design, planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation of an appropriate mentoring program, students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. The course aims to give students hands-on experience in the process and outcomes of using theory in real-world situations. The mentoring topics covered in this course may include energy education, academic mentoring, and career mentoring in science and engineering. |

RC교육은 인간에 대한 이해를 기반으로 공동체 발전에 기여하며, 협업적 소통 능력, 인문적 통찰력, 수학적 사고, 성숙한 태도와 가치관, 감성, 리더십, 도전정신을 갖춘 성인으로의 성장을 목표로 한다. 이 과목은 1학년 2학기 학생을 대상으로 하며, 지역의 초등학생, 중학생과 고등학생을 멘토링하는 사회공헌프로그램이다. 멘토링 주제와 관련된 이론 교육과, 주제에 적합한 멘토링 프로그램의 설계와 기획, 준비, 운영, 평가에 직접 참여함으로써 이론이 실제 현장에 적용되는 과정과 그 결과를 경험할 수 있다. 멘토링 주제는 에너지교실, 학습멘토링, 이공계진로 멘토링 등이 있다. |

The RC education program is focused on building strong communities based on human understanding and on helping students develop collaborative communication skills, humanistic insights, mathematical thinking, mature attitudes and values, sensitivity, leadership, and a challenging spirit. This course is a residential college (RC) program that cultivate college students' leadership skills. In this course, students can design and plan an RC program to help incoming first-year students adjust to college life and become a part of the RC community during their first semester. The course will also cover theories of college student development, success, and leadership, and students will be able to apply these concepts as they create their leadership RC programs. Through this process, students will develop their own leadership skills and abilities. |

RC교육은 인간에 대한 이해를 기반으로 공동체 발전에 기여하며, 협업적 소통 능력, 인문적 통찰력, 수학적 사고, 성숙한 태도와 가치관, 감성, 리더십, 도전정신을 갖춘 성인으로의 성장을 목표로 한다. 이 과목은 대학생 리더십 역량 RC 프로그램이다. 수강생은 신입생의 대학입문(College Entryway) 프로그램 - 재학생과 신입생이 팀이 되어, 대학 입학 후 첫 학기에 신입생이 켄텍 RC 공동체의 일원으로서 대학에 잘 적응할 수 있도록 돕는 RC 프로그램을 기획하고 준비한다. 대학생의 발달, 대학생 성공 이론, 변혁적 리더십에 대한 이론을 익히고 이를 적용한 대학생 리더십 RC 프로그램을 설계, 기획, 준비함으로써 리더십 역량을 키울 수 있다. |

The RC education program is focused on building strong communities based on human understanding and on helping students develop collaborative communication skills, humanistic insights, mathematical thinking, mature attitudes and values, sensitivity, leadership, and a challenging spirit. This course is a residential college (RC) program that cultivate college students' leadership skills. This course involves implementing the College Entryway program, which was previously planned and prepared by students in SLP(1). The program is designed to assist new students in adjusting to college life and becoming a part of the RC community. As part of this program, students can develop their leadership skills while providing support and guidance to incoming first-year students. Through this process, students will be able to both improve their abilities and contribute to the success and well-being of their peers. |
